80TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY - LIGHTING OF BEACONS

As you will be aware, on June 6th this year, it is the 80th Anniversary of the D Day landings. There are a large number of events taking place around the UK and abroad, one of the main elements is the lighting of Beacons that will take place at 21:15 hrs on that day as a token of the “Light of Peace”.
