Senior, Junior and Ladies teams compete in the Westmorland League.
Forton Bowling Club is an open and welcoming Club which has always encouraged bowlers of all ages and abilities.
Community Services
Forton Post Office is located in the Methodist Church Hall on Hollins Lane and is open from Mon to Fri 9 am to 1 pm.
The mobile library visits Forton and usually parks on School Lane near Coronation Avenue. For times/dates please ring 07717 543763.
Community Groups
Beavers, Brownies, Cubs, Guides and Scouts meet at the Scout Hut on Hollins Lane.

Community Venues
Forton Village hall is available for hire for activities including birthday parties, dog classes, events, fairs, exercise classes, children's activities, meetings, etc. Hire charge is £10 per hour to book call Jenna Metcalfe on 07850 008428.

Forton was the first Nonconformist Church in the area and was established in 1707. Garstang and Forton churches have been linked together as a joint pastorate since the 1930s.
